Edward L. Whisenhunt

Edward L. Whisenhunt, age 70, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born on August 7, 1947, in Norman, the son of George Whisenhunt and Dixie Hill Whisenhunt. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Mary Ward, Sarah Henthorn, Ruby Marshall and Hattie Hinds. He attended The Gates of Praise Church, and in his earlier years worked at the sawmill and was a logger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his nieces, Janie Wehunt, Joyce Lambert and Michelle Duggan, all of Amity; his nephews, Charles Ward of Glenwood and Richard Henthorn of Amity; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. A Memorial Service will be held by the family at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in the Hilltop Full Gospel Church in Glenwood with Bro. Vernon Wehunt and Bro. Eric Wehunt officiating.
