Edward Irving Williams

Dr. Edward Williams, age 81, of Lancaster, California, passed from this life on Monday, April 27, 2026. Edward was born February 2, 1945, in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was a kind and loving brother, uncle, and friend. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially the children, with whom he enjoyed playing games and teaching. He loved the outdoors, hiking, and exploring Nature, and was a world traveler. He was an accomplished gardener. Edward was a perpetual scholar. He was an honor graduate in the MHS Class of 1963 and was voted Most Likely to Succeed by his class. He went on to become a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry, and later studied and practiced traditional Asian medicine.

Edward was preceded in death by his father Cloudy Night Williams, mother, Elizabeth Ward Williams, brothers, Gene Williams, and Roy Williams and nephews, Gary Gray, Thomas Mayall, and Jordan Harrelson.

He is survived by his sister Bettye Williams Gray, nieces and nephews Dennie Williams Gonia, Suzanne Williams, Dustin Williams, Misty Williams Wing, Renae Gray, Jeannie Gray Bright, and Dr. Roma Lisa Gray, great nieces and nephews Hilary Gray Johnston, Evan Gray, Theresa Gray Smith, Alisha Gray McCool, Jessica Gray Bradford, Cole Gray, Mitchell Harrelson, Ben Gonia, Hannah Gonia McClure, Autumn Gonia, and Storm Smith.
