Edwin Spann
Edwin Lee Spann, 77, of Sherwood died March 29th. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin Doyle Spann and Celia Lee Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia Spann and his daughter Terri Lee Murphree and grandson Matthew Murphree; two stepson, Ted Bell (Patti) and Thomas Bell.
Ed graduated from LRHS in 1953 and attended one year at UALR before joining the Air Force.
He worked in Little Rock for the US Postal Service from February 1958 until November 1990, 38 ½ years and for many years was in management and was Manager of Retail Sales and Services. He was eligible for early age retirement.
Ed loved golfing and fishing for years and had great friends to enjoy those with.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Hwy. 107, Sherwood, Arkansas. With a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in a mausoleum at Edgewood Memorial Park in NLR, so no flowers should be sent to the funeral.
