Springdale – Effie Louise Wells, 98, entered Heaven February 17, 2026 at The Maples. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Wells.

Louise lived in Little Rock until 2008, then moved to North West Arkansas to be near her two sons, James and Michael Wells, both of Springdale.

She had four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Louise was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be at Smith Family Funeral Home in North Little Rock Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 1:00PM followed by a burial at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock at 2:30PM.
