Elaine Carter, 88, passed peacefully at home Wednesday, June 27, 2018, she was born
July 1, 1929 in Chicago, IL to William and Lydia Belssner.
On December 30, 1952, she married
Charles Carter, both raised in the farmlands near Chicago.
Elaine was a loving wife and mother and stood beside Charles in all
his endeavors, performing the duties of a military officer's wife and,
in retirement, as a cattle farmer's wife.
She is survived by her husband Charles, daughter Jennifer Dias of
Massachusetts, son Charles of Florida, grandchildren Dorianne Dias of
Arkansas, Kealey Dias of New York, Keaton Dias of New York, Matt
Carter of Massachusetts, and Melissa Carter of Florida, and 7
Great-grandchildren of New York and Arkansas.
Visitation will be at 1 pm followed by a service at 2 pm on Saturday
June 30 at Grace United Methodist Church in Conway, ar. Burial will be
at noon on Tuesday July 3 at Peotone Cemetery in Peotone IL.
