Elbert "Mac" McCoy, 85, of Little Rock, passed away June 2, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born in Bartholomew, Arkansas to Harvey and Lucindia Standberry McCoy, he was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene McCoy; son, Eugene McCoy; and siblings, Doris Cook, Essie Giles, Edward McCoy, Levert McCoy, Harvey McCoy, Jr. and Vessie McCoy.
He is survived by his children, Lemone McCoy, Sr. (Amanda) of Maumelle, Elizabeth McCoy Frazier ( Gerald) and Vincent McCoy, both of Little Rock, and Elbert McCoy, Jr. of Aurora, Illinois; and sisters, Lula McCoy of Little Rock, Cora Moore (Lee V.) of Dermott and Bertha Neal (Richard) of Little Rock.
Open visitation will be Monday, June 8 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Haven of Rest Cemetery.
