Eleanor S. Chance, 80 of Mabelvale, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009 at Good Shepherd Nursing Center in Little Rock. She was born on April 24, 1928 in Shreveport, LA to Roy and Hattie Wilson Swindle.
Eleanor was a retired Secretary, of the Baptist faith, who was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include a daughter Karen (Gary) Alexander of Mabelvale, a son Thomas Lynn Chance of Mississippi, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday, February 20, 2009.
