Elendle Buck

Elendle Buck, age 94, of Arkadelphia, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at his home. He was born May 12, 1932 in Fendley, Arkansas to the late Monroe Martin and Katie (Childress) Buck. Elendle proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before dedicatedly serving his community, ultimately retiring as Assistant Chief of the Arkadelphia Police Department. In addition to his parents, Elendle was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam (Hendricks) Buck; brothers, Grady Buck, Curtis Buck, Homer Buck, Doyle Buck, Arnold Buck, and Glen Buck; and sisters, Lois (Buck) Kirksey and Hazel Mayol.

Survivors include his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Hendricks and Georgia Garrett; brother-in-law, Larry Hendricks; several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; and numerous friends, neighbors, and coworkers who were like family.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2026 at Park Hill Baptist Church with Brother Luke Huneycutt officiating. Visitation will be prior to the services, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
