Elizabeth Ann Book, aged 74, passed away on February 17, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born October 21, 1951, in Jonesville, Louisiana, Elizabeth led a life marked by kindness, generosity and curiosity. She was a proud and loving individual who deeply valued her faith, evident in her active participation at Solid Rock Apostolic Church in Morrilton, Arkansas.

Elizabeth’s love for music and teaching was profound. She often shared her talents in singing and playing the piano, and she dedicated much of her time to teaching the word of God. Her commitment to her faith and community was a beacon of light and inspiration to many, but her greatest accomplishment and joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She graduated from Monterey High School, which laid the foundation for her nurturing and educational endeavors throughout her life.

Elizabeth is survived by a loving family, including her daughter, Marcy Teal; son, David Simpson II; grandchildren, Andrea Green, Mallory Walker, Hunter Victoriano (Rebecca), Pantara Wilson (Alex), Sommer Sherman (Nathan), David Simpson III; and great grandchildren, Aubree, James, Jaxton, Breccan, Noah, Nash, Piper, Nolan, and Jane. She is also survived by her sister, Krystal Book. Elizabeth is proceeded in death by her parents Bobby Ray Book Sr. And Faye Elizabeth Book, her brother Bobby Ray Book Jr. And sisters, Karen Sue Book and Connie Jean Book.

Services to honor Elizabeth’s life will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. Visitation for family will occur from 10:00 am-11:00 am, and for family and friends 11:00am-12:30 pm on March 13. A service will follow from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with graveside at Antioch Cemetery.

Elizabeth’s legacy of faith, love, and creativity will continue to live through the many lives she has touched. Smith Funeral Home is assisting the family through this time.
