Elizabeth "Libby" Magee Cottengim, 71, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was born August 14, 1939 in Clarendon, Arkansas to the late C.A. "Fibber" and Juanita Hawkins Magee. She grew up in Brinkley. She was a navy wife and they resided in numerous locations. Libby was an accomplished pianist and water colorist. They retired in Nixa, Missouri where they enjoyed their home and flower garden. She was also an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her sons, Ren Neatherland and wife, Lynn, of Clear Water, Florida and Chuck Cottengim and wife, Chanel, of Olathe, Kansas; two grandsons, Nicolas and Jacob Cottengim; and sisters, Kaye Magee Osburn, of Little Rock and Jean Magee Smith, of Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Burton Cottengim, U.S. Navy retired Command Master Chief.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
