Elizabeth "Liz" Glosup Coleman

Elizabeth "Liz" Glosup Coleman, age 83, of Texarkana, formerly of Daisy, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

She was born on July 24, 1940, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, the daughter of Marvin Van Glosup and Oma Faye Bridges Gosup. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Rex Coleman; Her brother, Gerald Glosup; her two sisters, Linda Stedman and Faye Glosup; and her great-grandson, Mack Coleman.

On January 26, 1962, Liz married the love of her life, Joe. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas.  Liz spent her working career as a bookkeeper and worked several years at the Pike County Hospital. Liz loved reading, gardening, and cooking. Most of all Liz loved being "Nini" to her grandchildren. Liz will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and JoLynn Coleman of Siloam Springs; her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Mike Graves of Nashville; her grandchildren, Rexanne Graves, Matthew Coleman, Josh Coleman and Andy Graves; her three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Nora, and Sunny; and her brother, Rayburn Glosup of Mineral Wells, Texas.

The family will be holding a memorial service on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Dr. Wayne Sewell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rexanne Graves, Matthew Coleman, Josh Coleman, and Andy Coleman.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Jayden Coleman.

Memorials can be made out to the Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks Dr, Texarkana, TX 75503.
