Elizabeth Michelle Ragan, born January 30, 1954, in Newport, Arkansas, passed away on September 4, 2025, at Colonel Glenn Health and Rehab in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Elizabeth dedicated more than 30 years of her life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant. Her career reflected who she was at her core: kind, nurturing, and deeply compassionate. Beyond her work, she was funny, blunt, and always ready with a story or a laugh. A natural talker, she had a gift for making people feel comfortable, connected, and cared for.
After retiring, she suffered a stroke in 2022, which led to her moving into a nursing home. Prior to her time in the nursing home, Elizabeth enjoyed some of life’s simplest pleasures including shopping trips, eating out with loved ones, and good conversations filled with laughter and gossip. These moments captured her lively spirit and the joy she shared with those around her.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Courteney Ragan, who was the pride and joy of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Hazel Ragan; her brother, Thomas Ragan; and her sister, Sharon Morgan.
Elizabeth will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and honesty. She touched many lives with her caring heart, her laughter, and her generous spirit.
In accordance with her wishes, Elizabeth will be cremated, and no services will be held.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
