Elizabeth Ann Wright

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Wright of Redfield, AR was born October 17, 1952, in Clarendon, AR, and went to heaven on July 12, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Clyde Simpson, Winnie Kelly, Barnwell Oliphant, and Tommie Mathis; mother Marjorie Simpson and her husband of 25 years, William Wright. Survivors include her father Robert Simpson; Aunt Linda Smallwood (Jimmy); sisters Martha Jane Simpson Morris (Jerry), and Kathy Simpson; her sons Richard “Ricky” Hall, James “Bobby” Hall, and Chris Wright; Grandchildren Cody Cazer (Sydney), Rochelle Flores (Dylan), BreAnna Hall (TJ), Megan Hall, Austyn Wright (Allie), Joey Stivers, and Hayley Hall; Great-Grandchildren Preston Cazer and Easton Flores; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth gave her life to Christ in 1962. Liz was a great wife, daughter, friend, nurse, mom, and an even better Nana. She was part of the very first graduating class at Parkview High School and enjoyed gathering with them over the years. She spent the majority of her career as a nurse at St. Vincent clinics. She worked as an LPN for several years before changing to management. She was a wonderful leader and friend during her time at the clinics. Once she retired she spent her days volunteering with the Soldiers Angels and hanging out with her grands. She loved all things western and one of her favorite pastimes was riding horses in the pasture at her house and showing horses at the rodeo. She also enjoyed her yearly out-of-state trip with her friends. Elizabeth was called by many names, but her favorite of all was Nana. If you were ever with Liz she was probably running around with or attending an event for her grands. She was the best Nana around. Liz lived a wonderful life with many great memories and she will be missed immensely.
