Ella Mae Ross age 78 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Little Rock. She was born May 27, 1931 in Joan, Arkansas the daughter of the late Willie Richard and Clara White Stumon. She was a cook at South Fork Truck Stop at Gurdon and a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. Her son, Donnie Fite preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Tommie Ross; two daughters, Ruth Fite of Des Moines, Iowa; Evelyn Rinkle of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three sons, James Ross of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Tony Ross of Raceland, Louisiana; Jim Ross of Aguila, Arizona; one brother, Roland Stumon and wife, Helen of Los Angeles, California; twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Donald Ray Smith, Fred Plamer, Steven Woodall, Brian Richardson, Justin Cook and Mike Homan. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Wayne, Victoria and Tonya Rinkle.
