Ellie Jo Carter, 68, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Carter, of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Shelia Carter, of Little Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Michael Crossland, of Mabelvale; three brothers, John Cushing, of Little Rock, Kenneth Cushing, of Sardis and Ottis Cushing, of Paron; two sisters, Donna Marie Vocque, of Sardis and Glenda ?Rose? Freeman; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Cushing; and two brothers, George and Lonnie Cushing.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at Faith Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
