Ellis Hugh Higgs, 73, of Plainview passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. He was born October 19, 1943 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles and Ruby Edmonson Higgs. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and earned a Purple Heart.
He is survived by his children, Jeff Higgs and Deborah Boheman; brother, Dale Higgs; sisters, Dean Davis, Christine Manley, Beverly Thomas, Debby Howell, Weeda Jones and Janet Cook; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, Mickey and Gary Higgs.
Graveside service with military honors will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
