Ellouise Sylvester

Ellouise E. Sylvester, 95, of North Little Rock, passed away on August 10, 2013. She was born in Benton on July 26, 1918 to Galen and Mattie Carter. Ellouise was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years at the First Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Gene Sylvester and his wife Joy, of Germantown, TN; grandchildren, Michelle Boren and Galen Sylvester; great-grandchildren, Brittney and Blake; and cousin, Jimmie Stitt of Benton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ervin Sylvester; daughter, Judy Moody; and two granddaughters, Karen and Rebecca.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Concord Cemetery in Lonoke. She will be available for public viewing at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
