Elmer “Buck” Pritchard

Elmer L. “Buck”  Pritchard, Jr.,  82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away December 23, 2021.  He was born September 20, 1939 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Elmer Pritchard, Sr. and Pauline (Mahar) Pritchard.

Elmer always put his county first and proudly served in the United States Navy for over twenty years.  During his enlistment, he participated in three tours in Vietnam and spent ten years overseas.  Elmer was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, camping, and travelling.

Preceding Elmer in death are his first wife, Marilyn Jay Bono Pritchard; son-in-law, Vernon Wilson; brother,JT Pritchard; parents and a great-granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Dovie Pritchard of Hot Springs, Arkansas; son, Roger Pritchard, Sr. and wife Terri of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Kimberly Wilson of Benton, Arkansas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 30, at Hicks Cemetery in Benton.
