Emma "Jeanie" Fendley

Emma "Jeanie" Fendley, age 74, of Amity unexpectedly went home to be with Jesus Saturday, November 30th. She was born January 7, 1950 in Hot Springs to Marion Virgil and Arvelee Teague. She married Roy Fendley, June 8, 1993 and they proved to be a perfect match. She was an amazing cook, and enjoyed being home and caring for her home. She cherished deep lasting friendships and connecting with friends and relatives on Facebook. She loved to travel with her Sisters of the Heart. She was always taking pictures...a lot of pictures. She was a natural by Roy's side helping in the yard, the woods and garden when she could.

She is preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings and one Sister of the Heart. She is survived by her husband, Roy, children Melinda Plyler, Tony Loy and wife, Kim, Mike Fendley and wife, Alison, Tim Fendley and Angie, grandchildren Danielle Campbell, Ashley Black, Jacob Loy and wife, Emily, Seth Fendley and wife Emily, Laura Maestas and husband Seth, Abby Fendley, Wyatt Fendley, Chloe Smith, Maddox Fendley, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson and 3 Sisters of the Heart.

Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5 to 7 at Smith Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 am at Oak Grove Community Church at 180 Oak Grove Road, Amity, Arkansas followed by interment at Brushy Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jacob Loy, Ryan Shuffield, Wyatt Fendley, Aubrey McNeely, Robert McNeely and Gentry DePriest.
