Emmett Brockinton

Emmett Leroy Brockinton, age 86 of Cabot, AR passed away peacefully at his home on April 17, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Leroy was born 11/14/1934 in the Faulkner Gap Community to Emmett and Dimple Brockinton.

He was a member of Community Christ Church in North Little Rock.  Leroy was a successful business man.  He owned several used car businesses, he bought and sold real estate,  and managed his own rental properties.  Leroy and his wife Edna moved to the Hill Top Community in 1982, where they built a home and garden together.  He continued to work in the car business, but was also available to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Leroy is survived by his son Tony Brockinton (Terry), daughters Terri Miller and Lisa Denton (Larry).  Grand children Daniel Simpson, Sean and Kyle Miller, Jordan Brockinton, and Kellyn Kennerly.  Brothers Charles, Donnie and Kyle Brockinton and sister Wilma Lewis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 64 years Edna Carmical Brockinton, sisters Carolyn Williford and Linda Sims, grandsons Joshua Brockinton and David Simpson.

Join us to Celebrate his Life at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation at 4 pm Saturday April 24th, with the Service to follow at 5 pm.  His final resting place to be at Harmony Cemetery.
