Emmett Lane Richmond was born at UAMS on July 22, 2023, to parents Ryan and Taylor Richmond. He weighed 3 pounds and was 15 inches long.
Emmett’s family was blessed with over two hours with Emmett, before he went to his heavenly home. Doctors told his family that they would only have minutes with Emmett, but he was a tenacious fighter. During these precious hours, Emmett experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from his family, and listening as he was told “I love you” too many times to count. Emmett was too perfect to live on this earth, so God brought him to a perfect place with no sickness, sadness, or pain.
Emmett is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, Ryan and Taylor Richmond of Malvern, Arkansas; grandparents: Cindy and Shane Jacobsen of Alexander, Arkansas, Angela and Nathan Richmond of Bauxite, Arkansas, and Jason and Glenda Green of Walker, Louisiana; great-grandparents: Judy and Daniel Shore of Haskell, Arkansas, Beth Lane of Benton, Arkansas, and Sherry and Randy Green of Benton, Arkansas; uncles and aunt: Jacob and Alex Green of Alexander, Arkansas, Brady Green of Alexander, Arkansas, and Nicole Richmond of Bauxite, Arkansas; cousin, Drake Fox; and a host of extended family. Emmett will always remain in the hearts of his family, and they look forward to the day they will hold him again in heaven.
Waiting to see Emmett in heaven are his great-grandparents: Royce Tittle, Lloyd Lane, Ray Richmond, and Mary and Gary Gross; and great aunt, Kristin Clark.
