Erma Jean Schmidt, 79, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She graduated in 1952 from North Little Rock High School. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two brothers, Bob and Carolyn Schmidt and Kenneth and Linda Schmidt; nephews, Steve Ramsey and Bobby Schmidt; nieces, Sherri Wyatt, Stacye Bowen, Donna Judd, Sonya Murphy and Dee Dee Phipps; great-nephews, Zachary Ramsey and Will Brandon; great-nieces, Amanda Henderson, Stephanie Brandon, Amber Henderson, Rachel Ramsey, Ashley Clark, Hannah Phipps, Hope Phipps and Kayla Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Carrie Garvin Schmidt; brother, Herman Schmidt, Jr.; and sister, Helen Ramsey.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
