Ernest Cross

Ernest Edward Cross, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was born December 24, 1931 in Cabot, Arkansas to Hiram and Cora Mae Stewman Cross. He was a retired Switchman with Union Pacific Railroad and honorably served in the United States Navy.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mildred Cross; special granddaughter, Jennifer Jones; step daughter, Paula Fry; great-granddaughters, MaKenzie (Charlie) Tindall and MaKayla (Alex) Sanders; great-great-grandsons, Kyis, Mateo and Kayden; nephews, Dr. Thomas (Robin) Cross and Jeffery Cross and his niece, Deborah Cross. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dr. Jacob Cross.
Memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
A visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
