Ernestine Turner Fulbright, 96, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010. She was born December 31, 1913 in Cushman, Arkansas to Ernest and Effie Frances Carter Turner, and was a member of Archview Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd S. Fulbright, her sisters, Mozelle Shirley, Avis Turner and Nellie Faye Blue and her son-in-law, Charles Gates, she is survived by her daughters, Mary Joyce Fulbright and Margaret Gates, both of Little Rock and Becky Cox and her husband, Ron of Fayetteville; grandsons, Charles S. Gates of Little Rock and Mitchell Gates and his wife, Sarah of Altadena, California; and granddaughter, Allison Cole.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 28 from 10:00-4:00 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29 at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Bill Holbrook. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Memorials may be made to Archview Baptist Church, 12610 Arch St., Little Rock, AR 72206.
