Estelle Shuffield Chancellor age 89 of Bismarck died Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Hot Springs. She was born April 24, 1922 in Bismarck the daughter of the late Arthur and Cordelia Allen Shuffield. She was a devout Baptist and an retired textile worker.
Her husband, L. B. Chancellor; two sisters, Audie Ivy of Arkadelphia; Elsie Shuffield of Bismarck; two brothers, Winford Shuffield of Hot Springs and Lee Shuffield of New Orleans all preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Glenna Orr; Joan Foster and Linda Allen all of Bismarck; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother, A. J. Shuffield Jr. of Hot Springs; two sisters, Elwanda Williams and Geneva Thomas both of Bismarck.
Funeral services are at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 14th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial will be in Bismarck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM Tuesday until service time. Memorials may be made to Bismarck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Randy Orr, Kevin Ford, Tony Orr, Gentry Ford, Jeremy Allen and Wesley Williams.
