Eual Gene Tipton

Eual Gene Tipton, 71, of Bigelow, AR passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 13, 2025 surrounded by his family. A devoted Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Eual lived a life filled with consideration, humor and a deep love for the people around him. His warm and kind hearted spirit naturally drew people in, leaving a lasting impression with quiet integrity.

He was born, July 12, 1953 in Bigelow, AR to WB & Mary Tipton and spent most of his life there. He met his wife, Shandra Calhoun Tipton in 1973 and they married July 26, 1974. They built a beautiful life together with two sons born to them. Their marriage of 51 years set an example of a caring lifelong partnership.

Eual’s legacy of hard work and reliability is a testament to his character. His passion was being a farmer, raising cows, pigs, and chickens. He created a bountiful garden each Spring & Summer, and was a Master Gardener. He enjoyed outdoor activity, hunting and fishing. One of the greatest joys of life was spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was a devoted Dad to his sons Todd (Jodie) Tipton, John (Jennifer) Tipton and took immense pride in the lives they built. He cherished his role as “Grandad” to his six grandsons, Kyler Tipton (Lynda), Lathan (Blaklee) Tipton, Alex Tipton, Aaryn Tipton, Brandt Tipton and Brady Tipton. He always encouraged their dreams and was proud of all their accomplishments. He would share with them his wisdom, kind heart, humor, and sometimes aggravation.

Eual is survived by his brothers, Roger (Shirley) Tipton, Bob (Janet) Tipton and Sister, Nancy (Dale) Talley. His Sister-in-laws, Shelia Williams, Sheri (Steven) David and Brother-in-laws, Dennis (Janice) Calhoun and Dennis Wayne Bradford. Many nieces and nephews whom he loved greatly. As well as many friends who he claimed as family. He was preceded in death by his parents, WB & Mary Tipton, brother, Randall Tipton, sisters, Joy Hannah and Glenda Smith.

He truly cherished his family and the times they were together, gatherings, storytelling and memories that reflected the closeness they all shared. May you all carry his memory for a lifetime as well; we will miss you Eual Gene Tipton.

Celebration Services will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home Conway Chapel, 1751 Dave Ward Dr, Conway, Arkansas 72034. Visitation beginning at 10:30 AM followed by Services at 11:30 AM.
