Eula Faye Parker, 82, of Heber Springs passed away April 22, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Faye was born October 23, 1926 ? one of seven daughters of Lou and Jack Harrison who lived on a farm in Detroit, Texas. As an adult, she enjoyed sewing and gardening in addition to being a wonderful mother. After her retirement from Freeman Office Equipment in Newport, she moved to North Little Rock, then Heber Springs. Wherever she lived, she was always a wonderful neighbor and friend to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her six sisters ? Beatrice, Ruby, Mildred, Dorothy, Jackie, and Bettye plus her parents and husband, Hugh Parker Sr. Faye is survived by her daughter Sondra and husband Greg, her son Hugh and wife Jane, grandchildren Ryan, Derek, Sarah, & Zachary; Greg & Angie Seaton and daughters Allie & Morgan; Chris and Amie Seaton & children Dylan, Joey, and Hollyn plus many nieces and nephews. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs, an avid reader and gardener and will be greatly missed and remembered for her gift of laughter.
There will be a graveside service at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport on Monday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleburne County Library, 1010 W.
