Eva Minton
Eva Laverne Minton, 93, of Lonoke, died on January 1, 2011. She had a very good sense of humor, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Eva was faithful to the Lord and her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Dub Minton; parents, James and Effie Phillips; two granddaughters, Donna Ann Bailey and Karen Faye Chism; three brothers; and three sisters. Eva is survived by five daughters: Annette (Marvin) Bailey of Ward, Viola Cossey (Ralph) Martin of Jonesboro, Leola (Horace) Galloway of Romance, Barbara Hill (Tommy) Holmes of Hazen, and JoAnn Hill of Calhoun, Georgia; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and an abundance of friends.
