Faye S. Scrivner Finne, born August 1, 1934, in Lewisville, Mississippi, passed awaypeacefully on May 20, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
She lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and devotion. She was the cherished daughter of D.P. Scrivner and C. Viatrice Paxton Scrivner and the beloved wife of her late husband, Donald A. Finne Sr.
Faye was a committed mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, all of Little Rock: Allen Finne Jr. and his wife, Kim Haver Finne;

She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Andrew Finne and his wife, Katie Combs Finne; Kaitlyn A. Ramsey; Madeline Finne Snapp and her husband, Taylor Snapp; and Catherine M. Finne. Her family continued to grow with the addition of her cherished great-grandchildren: Camille Ramsey, Marshall Lang, and Hayden Lang, as well as her great-great-granddaughter, Korina Pearley.
Faye was a premier upholsterer whose remarkable craftsmanship and talent made her highly sought after throughout her career. She also shared her knowledge by teaching others her trade. She also found great joy in gardening and faithfully planted and tended her garden every single summer. Whether working with her hands indoors or outdoors, Faye created beauty everywhere she went.
A third love of hers was books. You could always find her nose in a book or her listening to an audiobook. She found peace and delight in reading and rarely let a day pass without a good story close at hand.
She was loved by many, she enjoyed them all, and she will be missed dearly. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her beloved caregivers, Mia York, Tanya Horsey-Burns, Kim Burton, Brenda Travis as well as many other caregivers that she had over the years, for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Faye.
