Flora Smith

Flora Bell (Simpson) Smith, 84

Passed away on May 15, 2025 at Morrilton, AR, surrounded by family. She was the wife of Julius Gay Smith (Sherwood), they shared 48 years of marriage together. She was born June 2, 1940 in North Little Rock, AR, to Aaron Verle and Lillie Bell (Manning) Simpson. She attended NLR High School and owned and operated Park Hill Florist with her sister for some time before transferring to Farm Bureau where she retired in 2012.

She was a member of First Assembly North Little Rock. She enjoyed spending time with her family, mainly shopping, traveling with the grandchildren to Silver Dollar City, decorating and making floral arrangements. She always spoke fondly of her Farm Bureau and church family as well.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sue Gibby (Morrilton), grandchildren Steven Tolliver (Frances) of Morrilton, Rachel Kenyon (Jeremy) of Tulsa, Keith Gibby of Morrilton, and great grandchildren Abigail and Alyssa. She is proceeded in death by her Husband, Parents and sisters Betty, Wanda and Linda.
