ARKADELPHIA, AR
Flora Jean Blanton Tarpley age 90, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 in Baptist Medical Center Arkadelphia. She was born September 20, 1915, the daughter of Herbert and Ola Mae Gates Blanton. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Tarpley.
Survivors include on son, Thomas J. "Tommy" Tarpley Jr. of Enterprise, Alabama, two daughters Carolyn Neel of Hope, AR and Barbara McMaster of Longview, TX, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2: P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2006 in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev Bob Langley officiating under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia.
