Florence Bajorek Martone, 87, passed away January 9, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (Marty) Martone, her son, Paul Martone and her son-in-law, Jeff Welch. She was born December 2, 1925 to Ted and Agnes Bajorek. She grew up in North Little Rock where she attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and school. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1945. She married Marty in 1946 and lived very happily with him until his death in 1997. After raising her children she worked for Dr. Jerry Shue and the Arkansas Department of Revenue until her retirement. She lived with her children for the last several years and was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church.
She is survived by three children, Luigi (Lisa) Martone, Steve Martone and Jeanne Welch. She has four grandsons, Matt Narrell, Corey (Heather) Martone, Zachary Martone, Jeremy (Nicole) Welch, a granddaughter, Skylar Treece and three great-grandchildren, Preston Martone, Jake Welch and Kaitlyn Welch. She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Hubert (Sharon) Bajorek and Mike (Carol) Bajorek. In addition, she had a host of nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her for her sense of humor, her thoughtfulness, her devotion to her faith and to her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
