Floyd E. Tolleson, age 74, of Nashville, died Friday, October 12, 2012. He was born on May 21, 1938, at Glenwood, the son of John Forrest Tolleson and Ruby Sloan Tolleson. On April 11, 1966, he was married to Georgia Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight brothers, Kenny Tolleson, Hoye Tolleson, Charlie Tolleson, Cue Tolleson, Delbert Tolleson, Billy Tolleson, K. O. Tolleson and Loyd Tolleson. He was retired from the Briar Gypsum plant and served as Ambassador of Weyerhuser. He enjoyed stock car racing and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Tolleson of Nashville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim Morphew of Springdale and Tina and Sean Waggoner of Forney, Texas; four grandchildren, Justin Morphew, Casey Morphew, Devan Gentry and Kristin Gentry; three great-grandchildren, Katelynn Morphew, Riley Morphew and Kaegan Gentry; two brothers, Odell Tolleson and Gerald Tolleson, both of Kirby; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 15, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Kevin Smead officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, Oather Jackson, David D. Jackson, Aaron Jackson and Patrick Jackson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
