Floyd "Steve" Curtis

Floyd Steven Curtis, 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025. Steve was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church and a sweet, kind, loving man.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pastor Floyd A. Curtis, mother, Rose Alice (Peggy) Curtis, as well as his sister Peggy Curtis Tyner.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Manees Curtis. While they had no children, he was beloved by their younger siblings. As they grew up, Steve dressed as Santa Claus for his nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.

He also leaves behind his younger brother, Allen Curtis (Marybeth), his brother-in-law, Larry Tyner and three generations of nieces and nephews, too numerous to count.

He was very proud to serve as Little Rock firefighter and retired at the rank of captain after 30 years of service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Crystal Hill Baptist Church (18823 Crystal Valley Road) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
