Frances Maurine Cook, 83, of Alexander, passed away September 13, 2012. She was born in Birta, Arkansas to Babe and Zetta Moreland Strait.
Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Russell Cook; son, William Russell Cook, Jr. of Mena; daughter, Vivian Ann Fritts (Douglas) of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren, Marie Fritts and Jimmy Cook.
Visitation will be Monday evening, September 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Saline County, 7600 Bauxite Highway, Bauxite, AR 72011.
