Frances Magdaline Evans

Frances Magdaline Evans, age 81, of Amity, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

She was born on August 27, 1940, in Amity, the daughter of Arlie Wilder and Lena Mae Harris Wilder.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Culvert Springs Assembly of God Church.  Frances loved Jesus and had so much love in her heart and soul for Doug.  Frances was as beautiful inside as she was outwardly.  She enjoyed arrowhead hunting, finding artifacts and crystals, fishing, and collecting antiques.  Most of all, Frances was a loving wife to Doug.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Hale of Amity; her brothers, Rufus Wilder and Russell Wilder; her sisters, Charleen Short and Ruby Jean Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A private burial was held in the Coker Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Honorary pallbearer was Ted Ortega.
