Frances Carol Howell

Frances Carol (Berryman) Howell, 77, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 24, 2022.  She was born November 6, 1945 in Badget, Arkansas to the late Chester and Dollie (Bolt) Berryman.

Frances loved the Lord and was a member of Discover the Joy Baptist Church.  The Bible was her favorite book.  Frances was always happiest when she was with her family and friends.  Frances enjoyed playing games on her computer each morning  and loved watching Western movies.  She enjoyed fish fries and yellow roses were her favorite flowers.  Misty, her beloved dog, was her constant companion whom she missed greatly. 

Preceding Frances in death are her parents, Chester and Dollie Berryman; son, Royce Gene Nix; and sister, Barbara Booher. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children:  Franklin Nix and wife Jennifer and Kenneth Howell and wife Jenny; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin Berryman and wife Penny; and many family members and friends who love Frances and will miss her always.

Frances loved the following poem and wanted it included in her obituary:

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me

When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see;

If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today,

while thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,

And each time that you think of me, I know you will miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand

That an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand,

And said “Your place is ready in heaven above

and you will have to leave behind all those you love.”

Today for life on earth is past, but here it starts anew;

I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last.

Since each day is the same day, there is no longing for the past.

So, tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we are far apart,

For everytime you think of me, I’m right there in your heart.
