Frances Lorene Reid, 91, of Benton, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 19, 1934, in De Queen, Arkansas, Frances spent most of her life in Hot Springs, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and caring for others.

Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clovis Reid; her parents, Homer and Barbara Tutt; and her brothers, James Tutt and Charles Tutt.

She is survived by her son, Gary Reid and wife Judy; her daughter, Cindy Reid Prescott; her grandchildren, Melissa Runyon and husband Steven, and Reid Prescott and wife Jackie, and two step-grandchildren Mike Pickett, Brandi McIntosh and her three great-grandchildren, Blakely, Charlie, and Rose Runyon.

Frances’ faith in the Lord was a guiding light throughout her life and an example to all who knew her. She devoted herself to caring for her parents as well as her mother- and father-in-law, always offering compassion, strength, and unwavering love. Her kindness, loving spirit, strong faith, and dedication to family and friends will be remembered always.

She leaves behind a legacy of grace, devotion, and love that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 20th, at 10:00AM at Smith Family Funeral Home Hot Springs Chapel. Interment will be following immediately after at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00AM.

Pallbearers include Reid Prescott, Steven Runyon, Steve Tutt, Phil Jackson, Wes Ader, and Terry Hastings.

Honorary Pallbearer is France's Great Grandson, Charlie Runyon.
