Frank A. Rogers, Jr. of Leola, Ark., was born July 25, 1936, the son of the late Frank A. Rogers, Sr. and Lula Mae Cooper Rogers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Kenneth Eugene Rogers (infant), Lewis Baron Rogers; and grandsons: Kenneth Eugene Rogers and Shannon Lewis Rogers.
He peacefully gained his wings on March 29, 2019, at home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 82. He was a retired boiler operator and truck driver and had just retired in 2017. Frank was a huge Razorback fan. He loved working in the yard, planting a garden and he loved his pets: Paz and Pup Dog.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janie Rogers of Leola; mother-in-law, Louise Sites of Sheridan; step-daughter, LeAnn Brown of Sheridan; step-son, Bart McGarrah (Amy) of Sheridan; special care takers: Jessie Curtner (granddaughter) and Jeff Lowery of Malvern, grandson Jason Tanner (Brandie) of Sheridan; seven step-grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Per his request there will be no services.
