Franklin D. Thompson age 77, of Arkadelphia died Monday, January 6, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born September 18, 1936 in Arkadelphia, to Melvin and Florence Posey Thompson. Frank was a retired heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Donnie, Floyd and Bobby Thompson; and one sister, Betty Wilks.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-three years, Margaret Thompson; one son, Michael Thompson and wife, Chris of Coral Springs, Florida; two daughters, Donna Smith of Arkadelphia, Rhonda McCann of Suwanee , Georgia; two brothers, Larry Thompson of Arkadelphia, Bill Thompson of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, Zachery, Kevin and Connor.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, January 10th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be noon Friday until service time.
