Freda Murphy, 90, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, May 6, 2013. She was born February 10, 1923 in Faulkner County to the late William and Pauline Parham Hughes. She was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. She loved her dogs Chein and Tigger and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles R. Murphy, of North Little Rock; daughters, Barbara Welton, of Alexander and Carolyn McIntosh, of Hernando, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Tyron Knight and her sister, Geraldine Karaly.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Church of the Nazarene, 3923 Camp Robinson Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Grace Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until service at the church.
