Freddie Joe Howell, 45, of Little Rock passed away June 25, 2013. He was born in Conway on January 11, 1968.
At an early age Fred was a gifted orator and aspired to be a preacher. He attended Little Rock Parkview and graduated from Sheridan High School. He found a love for cooking and was successful at it. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping with friends. Throughout his life, Fred found joy in helping those less fortunate. Being a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church was important to him on many levels-God, family, friends and service to your fellow man. Fred's love of people afforded him many friends, especially the Barthol family who valued his unselfish true heart that was clear to so many. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Grace Howell; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Doug Horton; brother, James Horton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 10th at Holy Souls Catholic Church, with Rev. Erik Pohlmeier officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbarium of Holy Souls. Rosary service for Mr. Howell will be held at the church on Tuesday, July 9th starting at 7:00 p.m.
