Frederic Tucker

Frederic Tucker, a dedicated and skilled geo-technical engineer, left this world on June 18, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on November 6, 1947, he forged a life marked by both professional achievement and deep personal connections. A proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, Frederic’s career was a testament to his engineering expertise, with his contributions seen in the construction of dams, bridges, docks, and fuel barges. His work not only showcased his technical abilities, but also his commitment to building infrastructure that served communities.

He is survived by his beloved children, Anthony Michael Tucker, Arthur Joseph Tucker, and Jonathan Thomas Tucker; his niece, Sarah Hogan; his brother-in-law, Bob Edwards; and his aunt Pamela Blocker. These family members carry forward his legacy and cherished memories.

Frederic was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Henry C. Tucker and Lois Tucker; his brother, Arthur Tucker; his sister, Brenda Edwards; and his nephew, Matthew Scott. 

A graveside service to honor Frederic's life will take place at Hot Springs Memorial Gardens, located at 2868 Airport Rd, Hot Springs, AR, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM. 

Frederic was deeply loved by all of those who knew and cared for him.
