Freida B. Burkett, 78, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, April 14, 2008. She worked for One Bank for over 25 years.
She is survived by two sons, Steven H. Burkett and wife, Anita, of Memphis and Richard C. Burkett and wife Janette, of Conway; daughter, Stefani K. Burkett Maher and husband Jimmy of Mayflower; grandchildren, Lindsay, Jasen, Whitney and Hillary Burkett and Cody and Laney Maher, and Rodney Sandefur, her sister, Marcelle Cherry, of Sherwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Wade and Mamie Stephens, brother, Wade Stephens and sister, Betty Tipton.
Memorials may be made to Activity Department of Sherwood Nursing Home, 245 Indian Bay Drive, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120 or Alzheimers Association, 411 S. Victory Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
