Gary Foreman

Gary Steve Foreman, 68, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away August 19, 2021.  He was born August 18, 1953 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Arnold and Thelma (Childress) Foreman.

Gary was a devoted husband, loving father, and a proud grandfather (first and foremost).  He worked at The Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs for several years.  Gary also ran his own lawn service on the side.  His top three favorite things were his motorcycle, karaoke, and football.  He liked to banter with Alabama and LSU fans, especially his brother and son-in-law.  Gary was an avid New Orleans Saints and Razorbacks fan.  He was a simple man who enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning (don’t forget to add two sugars and one creamer!) and reading a good book.  He was very optimistic about everything life brought his way.  His favorite pastime was taking his wife, Debby on motorcycle rides all over the country.  When he was on his motorcycle, he was in his happy place and enjoyed giving rides to his daughter from the time she was young to his grandchildren.  Gary loved animals of all kinds, especially his dogs.  His wonderful wit and positive outlook on life will be missed always.

Preceding Gary in death are his wife, Debby Foreman; parents, Arnold and Thelma Foreman; brother, Patrick “Pat” Foreman; sister-in-law, Judy Foreman; and brother-in-law, Melton Smith.

Left behind to cherish Gary’s memory are his daughter, Tabitha Curtis and her husband Chad of Red Banks, Mississippi; step-daughters:  Jennifer Goines and husband Jeff and Tiffany Duncan and fiancé Jimmy Buckner both of Hot Springs, Arkansas; step-sons:  Matthew Mayhone, Adam Mayhone and wife Toni, and Kyle Mayhone; twelve grandchildren; brother, Ernie Foreman and his wife Carolyn of Ferriday, Louisiana; sister, Teresa Smith of Ferriday, Louisiana;  and many family members and friends who love Gary and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 25, followed by funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
