Gary Scroggs

Gary Lynn Scroggs passed away peacefully June 16, 2026. He was born and raised in Beebe, Arkansas.

Gary was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need with a generous heart and a clever joke. He was an accomplished artist and was a retired art teacher at the Beebe School District. He has many former students who remember him fondly.

He was predeceased by his parents, Amos and Maureen Scroggs and a sister, Willodean Goode.

Left to cherish memories are his niece, Beth Goode of Little Rock, and his great nephews Cory, Taylor and Reed Willett; and many friends over the years.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Beebe First Methodist Church, with burial in Beebe Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com.
