Gary Scroggs

Gary Lynn Scroggs passed away peacefully June 16. Born and raised in Beebe, he was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Always eager to lend a helping hand with a generous heart and a clever joke.

Gary was an accomplished artist and retired art teacher. He has many former students who remember him fondly.

Gary was also an employee of ASU food services for 25 years. He loved his work family.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Amos and Maureen Scroggs, and sister Willodean Goode, nephews David and Johnny Goode, and niece Nancy Goode.

Left to cherish memories are niece Beth Goode, great nephews Cory.Taylor and Reed Willett, and many friends over the years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Project Zero, www.theprojectzero.org, any humane society of your choice, or Beebe First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Beebe First United Methodist Church, with burial in Beebe Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com.
