Gaylen Long, 80, of Romance, Arkansas, was born September 19, 1933, at Paragould, Arkansas to Tommy Jacob and Nettie Etta (Rodgers) Long, and he died Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was an honest, hard-working family man who enjoyed farming, cows and flea marketing.
Gaylen is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Virginia; daughter, Kathy Nelson (Tom) of California; two sons, Gaylen Thomas Long (Marilyn) of California and Chad Long (Tammy) of Romance; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings Donald Long, Raymond Long, Tommie Bishop and Brenda Vatali, all of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Johnny Long; and sisters, Pat Boling and Jeanette Brashears.
