Gene Camp

Gene "Papa Gene" Camp, 89, of Beebe, Arkansas was born June 7, 1927 to Arthur "Dutch" and Ruth Camp and he passed away March 31, 2017. He was an honest man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed time with family and friends and was a member of the walking club at First Security Bank.

Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Marie (Duncan) Camp; his parents; great-grandson Kane Bradley Self; one brother and three sisters.

He is survived by daughter Pamela (Leslie) Limbocker of Allen, Texas; son Eugene "Butch" H. Camp, Jr. of Beebe; daughter Patti (Larry) Adams of Longmont, Colorado; nine grandchildren, Eric, Amber, Tiffany, Taylor, Misty, Autumn, Rachel, Kim and Kevin; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of loving family members.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
