Gene Stewart

Gene D. Stewart of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the age of 80. He was born October 31, 1936 in Rolla, Arkansas to the late Henry Stewart and Ethel Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Faye Stewart; daughter, Lorna Jean Stewart; grandson, Joshua Stewart; brothers, Lindell, Cecil, Mac and Donny and his sisters, Brenda and Carolyn.
He is survived by his three sons, Cliff (Faith) Stewart of North Little Rock, Steve Stewart of Mayflower, Mark (Laura) Stewart of Mayflower; his daughter, Vivian Tucker of North Little Rock; and his grandson, James Stewart of North Little Rock. Gene loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends at deer camp. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
His life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, on Main St in North Little Rock. Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Round Hill Cemetery in the Round Hill Community outside of Malvern.
