Geneva Johnson

Geneva W. Johnson was born October 13, 1932, and passed away November 9, 2023, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was born and raised in Damascus, Arkansas to parents Jodie and Bertie Ward.

Geneva was the self-employed owner of The Gingerbread House Kindergarten in Sylvan Hills until her retirement. Geneva was a member of Beebe United Methodist Church.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Johnson; son, Keith Johnson; sister Jackie Ward, and brother Bob Ward.

She is survived by her son Andy Johnson and wife Carolyn; granddaughters Tammy (Danny) Plunkett and Cheryl (Russell) McSwane. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Jacob (Maggie) McSwane, Kennedy McSwane, and Allyson Plunkett, as well as her great-great grandchild Layken McSwane and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel, 404 W. Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas 72012.
